The Market Research Society (MRS) has approved YouthSight as an MRS Accredited Centre, giving the official seal of approval to YouthSight’s in-house staff training and professional development programme. The programme enables juniors and new hires at YouthSight to pursue the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market & Social Research Practice, a globally recognised qualification that provides a practical grounding in the principles and techniques of effective market and social research.
Making sure that staff have an MRS qualification is all part of YouthSight’s ongoing commitment to quality. Managing Director Ben marks said, “not only do we own and manage one of the industry’s highest-quality youth and student panels, we are also an MRS Company Partner and we invest in our staff. Gaining Accredited Centre status means YouthSight joins global players such as TNS and GfK in demonstrating its commitment to staff development.”
Commenting on YouthSight’s accreditation, MRS COO Debrah Harding said “we’re delighted that YouthSight has become an MRS Accredited Centre. It is one of the first small agencies to do so, demonstrating their level of commitment to research standards and ethics.” Associate Director Mia Lorenz, who co-ordinates the programme and previously lectured on research methods at the University of Westminster, added “this is a moment to be proud of.
